Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera d’Asti 2014

Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera d’Asti 2014

Medium dark ruby color. Nose of flowers, berries, spices and earth. There is on the palate an enjoyable acidity paired with fine bitterness, there is fruit and spices notes and this calls for food as it’s then that this wine shines! From deli meats to pastas or pizza, this will pair well. A wine that I like to bring over when visiting friends or family. Good+ (88)

Made of 100% Barbera grapes. Aged 6 to 8 months in 50hl oak barrels, 30% being new, then a minimum of 4 months in bottle prior hitting the shelves. Alcohol level of 13,5%
