Pinard & Filles Pornfelder 2015

Pinard & Filles Pornfelder 2015

Dark ruby color with purple hue. Nose of small berries, earth, spices, straw, blooming of freshness. Good concentration on the palate paired with a good acidity level. Flavors of sour fruit, spices, it’s juicy and chewy, has some depth and is simply quite tasty and joyful. Glad I could have that wine with its very limited production. Very good+ (90)

Made of Pinot Noir (60%), Dornfelder (30%) and Pinot Meunier (10%). Natural winemaking. The Pinots were aged in 5 y/o barrels and in Dame Jeanne for the Dornfelder. Alcohol level of 10,2%. The label is drawn by the visual artist Marc Seguin

This is no more available, But I’ll be waiting for their next wine release! If you’re lucky, there might be some restaurants in Montréal that have this wine on their list…
