McManis Cabernet Sauvignon California 2015

McManis Cabernet Sauvignon California 2015

McManis Cabernet Sauvignon California 2015

Dark color. Nose of ripe berries, spices and a hint of brown sugar. There is no doubt, this wine charms “à la Californienne” with its perfume. On the palate the fruit feels ripe also (but the wine is completly dry), follows sweet spice flavors and a welcomed bitterness appeared on the finish paired with a good acidity. Good choice of wine, especially if you’re going see friends or family. Good (87)

Tabali Talinay Pinot Noir Limari Valley 2014

Tabali Talinay Pinot Noir Limari Valley 2014

Tabali Talinay Pinot Noir Limari Valley 2014

Medium dark and translucid ruby color. Aromas of red and black berries, earth, pepper, dried flowers, some oak, all in a powerful and expressive nose. Charming on the palate with its fruit and creamy texture, the wine still is serious, quite spicy with depth and tastyness. There is acidity, freshness while being true to the grape variety. Among the best Chilean Pinot Noir I’ve ever had. To keep in the cellar to try again in few months or years. Very good+ (90)

Lightly colored with green hue. Nose of apples, lemon and salty and green notes. Bright with high acidity at first, then the wine ends in a round and tasty finish. Similar flavors of those from the aromas, classical from that grape variety with a touch of green notes, lemon, with lime zest twist, it’s bright and fresh. This is good!
