Parés Baltà Cava Brut

Light gold color with fine bubbles. Not very intense on the palate, it still shows lemon notes with limestone minerality and green apples flavors. Good acidity level and length that brings up the rather thin mid palate. Not very complex, but fresh with an high drinkability level ! Among the best bubbly in that price range. Good+ (88)

Argiano Rosso di Montalcino 2013

Argiano Rosso di Montalcino 2013

Light and translucid garnet color. A little green at first, aromas of cherries and clay will come with air. Chewiness and good acidity level pairs with Morello cherries, small red berries on a short finish. Still, I like that lighter style very food friendly. Good+ (88)

Cosme Palacio Rioja 2011

Cosme Palacio Rioja 2011

Dark red cherry color. Nose where oak leads the way with aromas of coffee, vanilla, caramel and spices notes. More expressive with air. Quite harsh at first on the palate at bottle opening, air will be of a good use here too. Then flavors of blueberries, mulberries, spices, cappuccino and vanilla. Good acidity level and ended with a silky mouthfeel. Long and tasty finish. Good+ (88)

Domaine du Loup Blanc Le Régal Minervois 2012

Domaine du Loup Blanc Le Régal Minervois 2012

Dark purple-ish color. Nose of meat, spices and black berries. Despite its structure and chewiness, it does have freshness that goes well with the fruity flavors, the fine and integrated spices notes. Good length where a touch of minerals and leather is noticeable. I do recommend to put it in the cellar for few years to let it rest a little. Good+ (88)

Clos des Fous Grillos Cantores Cabernet-Sauvignon Cachapoal 2012

Medium dense garnet color. Aromas of red berries, plum, leather, dry flowers and seems a little austere for now. More open, expressive and charming on the palate with the same flavor profile as what noticeable on the nose. This wine is fresh and is claiming for a place at your table to be shared and enjoyed.
