I am not a natural born Grenache fan. Though, I’m curious and like to discover so I tried this one:

Glossy ruby color. Strawberry jam flavor with aromatic herbs and warm rocks. Fruity, round and chewy mouthfeel. This wine just drinks so easily. Very good+ (90)

Made of Grenache Noir. Vineyard and wine organic and biodynamic certified (ÉCOCERT, DEMETER). Alcohol level o 13%

Dark garnet color and doing long legs on the glass side. Smoky aromas with grilled bell pepper, spices, earth and a light “funky” twist. On the palate it starts with meaty notes and leather, smoke, dense texture and fine tannins. Good acidity paired low chewiness. At the end was pretty good. Excellent (91)

Made of Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Aged in oak barreld (up to 70% being new) for 15 months. Alcohol level of 13%

Bright ruby color. The wine is a real fruity delight with a fine nose. The aromas, as the flavors, are floral and slightly earthy. We drank it so fast that I’m almost speech less on how to describe it other than I liked it!

Made of Gamay. Handpicked, went through carbonic maceration and traditional winemaking. Alcohol level of 12%

It was a Monday and it was beautiful outside. We were having a simple but good meal of grilled chicken. What to choose to drink with it ? A Gamay based wine of course! Dark ruby color, fruity, floral and spicy aromas. Despite its structure, it is smooth and silky. Very good (89)

Made of Gamay from 60 years old + vines. Aged in old oak vats for 13 months. Alcohol level of 12,5%

Deep gold color for a wine that young. Aromas where honey, melon and ripe pears goes along with earth, mushrooms and flowers. Bright on the palate with good acidity and flavors of honey, green melon, Bosc pear and a hint of spices. Rich but balanced, I would pair this wine with a melting brie cheese topped with cranberries and nuts or bites of prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe. Very good (89)

Dark color with slightly orange rim. Evolution of the wine is more detectable on the nose with of dry fruits and leaves, old wood and tobacco. Flavors of plums and date are added to the aromas I had. In decline, can’t deny it, but did well at the table. Good (87)

Made of 95% Tinto Fino, 3% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 2% Merlot. Aged 12 months in American oak barrels, 3 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in bottle prior to hit the shelves. Alcohol level of 13,5%

This wine show some complexity and depth. Aromas of white flowers, honey, wax, peaches and something different I can’t put a name on. Flavors where butter, honey, exotic fruits, spices goes along with a tight and fresh finish that helps with the weight of the wine. Very good+ (90)

Made of Chardonnay. Aged 10 to 12 months in oak barrels with up to 15% being new. Alcohol level of 13,5%

Light gold color. Aromas of pear, pepper, pine tree and minerality coming from the soil where the vines are from does shows. Bright on the palate, it’s salty, mineral with a very very long finish. In this finish residual sugar is there, but it’s so balanced and tasty. Proud bearer of its Grand Cru level designation. To me, this is a Grand Vin. Superb+ (94)

Made of Riesling coming from a sloping vineyard with rocky and volcanic soils. Alcohol level of 13,5%

Straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of ocean breeze, sea weed, honey, candied lemon and white lily flowers. Less bright and concentrated than previous bottles I had, but a better chewy mouthfeel and more fat. Medium length finish. Very good+ (90)

Made of Chardonnay. Mostly aged in stainless tanks with a small proportion of new barrels for 12 months. Additional ageing of 6 months in old barrels. Alcohol level of 13%

Clear wine with green hue. Sea breeze aromas with seaweed, citrus fruit and sun! Bright and enjoyable on the palate with its good acidity and refreshing lemon notes. Clearly a summer wine, to drink like if we were on a Mediterranean beach! Good+ (88)

90% Assyrtiko, 5% Aidani and 5% Athiri. Aged in tanks. Alcohol level of 13%
